Coldwater School is located in a beautiful area. Nature walks are part of our program. Students enjoy learning about the plants and environment. After a walk they tell stories, draw pictures and write about their learning experience. Here are a few examples of student work and some photos from the field trip.
The Coldwater School students and staff enjoyed their annual tea gathering this September. It was a cool day in the mountains and wet gathering this year after a rain! The tea is good for cold days though and when we returned to the school we spread the tea out to dry so it will be ready for our chilly winter days. We share our tea harvest with family, guests and visitors. It is very good plain or with honey or sugar, and good for you when you have a cold. |
